Lung Detox Helped Me To Stop Smoking By Removing Tar And Toxins

By Matt Rushforth

Quitting smoking is a much easier thing to do if you have taken steps to remove tar and toxins from the lungs. A lung detox does exactly that and helps to sever the ties that a smoker has with a cigarette.

It wasn't until I had discovered the lung detox that I was able to take control of the cravings that plagued me for weeks. It was a constant battle to avoid sparking up again. Although I tried several of the popular products nothing could replace a cigarette for me. I tried everything from patches to substitute cigarettes.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure some people find those techniques perfectly adequate but maybe I'm just harder to convince. I've always been an awkward so and so:)

I really wanted to quit badly as I have a young family. My wife is an ex-smoker because she stopped immediately when she new she was pregnant and although she intended to start smoking again she just never did. She doesn't give me a hard time about smoking but she has made it clear that she'd like me to stop. And not only that I really want to stop for my kids sake.

If I didn't quit my 40 a day habit I might not be around to see her children, or worse I may just end up being ill and just a burden on her in years to come.

So why do I think the lung detox finally worked? Well what made sense to me was that if the chemicals that had kept me addicted to smoking were broken down and expelled from my body then surely I'd be well on my way to kicking the nasty habit once and for all.

Well it actually went even further than that. What I wasn't expecting was the uplifting effect it had on my whole mental and physical self. Within days of beginning the program my lungs just felt less tight and the terrible cough that I had developed finally began to subside. The transformation was quite unbelievable.

There are some minor side effects that I was aware of and ready for but it was really only a mild feeling of sickness and a headache but I was so excited by the thought of cleaning out my lungs I just put up with it and would go through it again...not that I ever intend to start smoking again.

Would I recommend a lung detox. Without question I think I'd still be a smoker now without it. - 31816
